Dish has been very busy this week, running all over the globe investigating gay rumors. Of course, first-person accounts are best, so whenever Dish's keepers allow us out of our chains, we make a run for it.
This week was one of the bright ones, and Dish treated ourselves to a little trip to that city in which Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte lived.
After Dish filled up with as many Manolos as we could safely carry, we stopped by the High Line Ballroom to see how well those new stilettos handled.
We also headed there to enjoy the third iteration of New York's version of gay dance night Blowoff, brought by gay duo BOB MOULD and RICHARD MOREL. The venue was full of hot daddies enjoying themselves and each other.
Also in attendance and dancing happily was gay icon CYNDI LAUPER. Although she bopped in the DJ booth, she wasn't quite so nice when she was out in the crowd.
When Dish came by, bowing and scraping and expressing endless love, Lauper told us that she "didn't want to be bothered." Oh, excuse Dish. How ridiculous of us to expect that a gay icon attending a gay dance party might find herself the subject of some queer adoration.
We'll remember that you don't want to be bothered the next time we're asked to shell out big bucks for one of your concert tours, Cyndi.
GAY FASHION DESIGNER ISAAC MIZRAHI, has always been a bit of a mixed bag.

Dish just never much cared for his television show, which we always found a bit too bloated for Mizrahi's personality to carry. He's not a comedian, is he? Just sort of a jovial fashion type that you know is seriously crazy and perfectionistic and "no more wire hangers!" under all that five o'clock shadow.
Well, hold onto your heels, because this holiday season Mizrahi performs a — that's right — cabaret act.
"I jump at the chance to appear in New York because I am a giant ham," Mizrahi told Fashion Week Daily.
Well, we already knew that. The one-night only event will include holiday stories, anecdotes and surprise guests. Hmm… Mizrahi promises lots of camp will be included.

OH, RICKY MARTIN. Where would we be without you and those persistent, swirling rumors about your sexual orientation? The latest furor about the hip-swiveling, Speedo-wearing svelte Latino come via, of course, a Hollywood skincare guru.
A Danish magazine asked Ole Henriksen whom, besides his partner, he would take a romantic vacation with, and he responded as follows, according to gossip Ted Casablanca.
"I'd go for [former Danish soccer player] Stig Tøftig, but since he's straight, I'd say my client Ricky Martin," Henriksen said.
According to other reports, Henriksen went on.
"He's a bit more open about it these days than he used to be," Henriksen is quoted as saying in any number of press reports. Food for fantasy, darlings!
